Cinnamon caramel coffee recipe

Cinnamon, caramel and coffee... Sounds like a morning drink to me! The sweet of the caramel balances out the spiciness from the cinnamon. The robust flavor of the coffee accentuates the combination perfectly.

Mix together cinnamon and ground coffee and brew as you normally would. Add caramel and stir until dissolved. Split between 2 mugs and add milk to taste. If desired, garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.

Cook's Notes-this drink is also delicious when served over ice. Allow coffee to cool before blending in milk and ice for the cold version, otherwise the hot coffee will melt the ice and water down your beverage.
