Fried sweet potatoes recipe

Serve these tasty potatoes for breakfast or as a side dish and listen to the rave reviews.

  • 6 sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups packed light brown sugar
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add potatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove from water and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.  Add butter to a large frying pan and melt over medium heat. Stir in sugar and stir until completely melted. Add potato slices and cook until golden and fork tender. Serve immediately.
