Margarita chicken wings recipe

What do you get when you combine a margarita with a chicken? These unique, tasty wings!

MARGARITA CHICKEN WINGS
Ingredients
  • 10 chicken wings
  • 3/4 cup tequila
  • 3/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons coarse kosher salt
  • lime wedges
Directions
In a bowl, whisk together tequila and triple sec. Add lime juice and salt. Stir until the salt has completely dissolved. Rinse wings and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut apart at the joints. Place chicken in a Ziploc bag and add marinade. Refrigerate at least 4 hours to marinate. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F and line a large baking dish with aluminum foil and lightly oil. Remove wings from bag and place on the foil, brushing with marinade. Bake wings until golden, about ten minutes. Turn over and brush with marinade again. Bake an additional 5-7 minutes before turning and marinading again. Return to oven until wings are browned and no longer glossy, an additional 3-5 minutes. Serve hot with lime wedges.
