Easy almond butter recipe

Peanut allergies are one of the most common food allergies-and one of the most deadly. If you-or someone you love-has to stay away from peanuts, try this delicious almond butter as an alternative.

  • 1 cup toasted almonds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Place almonds in a blender or food processor and process on high until the almonds are ground up and begin to form a ball. Slowly add the olive oil and continue to process until the mixture is smooth. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Store in an airtight container.

Cook's Notes make this recipe uniquely your own by adding sugar, honey, spices, etc until you get the flavor you want.
