PEPPERMINT HOT CHOCOLATE
- 3 cups nonfat dried milk powder
- 1 cup sugar sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 7 cups water
- whipped cream (garnish)
- crushed candy canes (garnish)
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In a large saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and stir until thoroughly combined. Slowly whisk in dry ingredients and cook over medium heat until completely hot. Ladel into mugs, garnish with whipped cream and candy canes, serve hot.
